Weddings are special happenings and provide every guest the chance to go shopping for amazing wedding outfits. If you are finding it difficult to choose what to wear, have a look at these fashion trends and perhaps you read something you like.

Sequins

If you are planning on attending big weddings (perhaps with a Las Vegas theme) you could wear sequin dress with lots of sparkles. If this is something a bit too glittery though, I would suggest wearing something more subtle as you do not want to feel uncomfortable in the outfit you are wearing.

Floral patterns

Perhaps you have seen these in the retail outlets already; floral patterns are the biggest trend at the moment and are therefore also incorporated in wedding outfits. Floral patterns are very pretty and are perfect if you are a very feminine type of woman. If this is a bit too girly, you may want to try something else.

Pencil skirts

Even through pencil skirts are usually associated with offices, they are becoming more and trendier when it comes to special occasions such as weddings. You can combine the outfit with some lovely peals as this will make the outfit look more elegant and glamorous.

Colours

It is no problem to wear something colourful to a wedding as it is a day of celebration! If you are really keen on colours, you have to be aware of the type of colours that match. Even though colour blocking is a big trend as well, it is not recommended to do this for special occasions.

Make up

Finally, make up is very important for special occasions, as you will be numerously photographed. Even though weddings give you an opportunity to go all out in terms of outfit and make up, try to stay elegant and don’t over-do it, because less is sometimes more. I would suggest a soft and natural looking make up when choosing to wear a colourful outfit or floral patterns. If you are more into the pencil skirt type of look, you can combine this with a white blouse and to finish it off, some red lipstick to give you that extra glamorous feel.
